The chances are I might have gone a little crazy, only time will tell, but after 20 years in the same career, I had the realisation I needed to take a new direction.

So I quit my job to spend more time doing what makes me happy – spending time with my family and baking (even better when they’re together).

We baked a lot! – cakes, cupcakes, brownies, even doughnuts, but nothing delighted us more than baking cookies to share with family and friends.

Now, my hubby lives by the moto happy wife, happy life – so when I said “let’s bake cookies” of course he said “ok, I’ll build the bakery”.

So that’s what we did. After 12 months of recipe development, a lot of taste testing, sharing new flavours with family and friends and getting great feedback, here we are – with a micro bakery and an online store.
